OT. He’s a fucking idiot, and he’s proving it daily. He’s received a stern warning from his republican advisors, that declaring a state of emergency would be an abuse of power! But, as usual, he’s gonna do it anyway. Here’s what’ll happen. He’ll declare this state of emergency, it’ll get tied up in the courts for years. Trump will be out in 2020, and it’ll be long forgotten. Trump can tell his base that he “pulled out all the stops”, and he’ll think he’s saving face. That’s it, nothing more. There will be NO WALL!

instead of worrying about trumps over exaggeration about being overrun to get america paranoid you might wanna ask yourself why trump wants america paranoid enough to spend billions and billions to build a wall that we can't afford especially with the decline illegal immigrants.
you haven't noticed all the cuts in programs & cuts in funding of resources for the people in the budget? the budget debt is higher than ever before in history. trump hasn't even bothered to balance it and just keeps making cuts and saying he's saving us money. yeah where?
did you get your tax return? trump passed another bill while people were busy with his drama & in turmoil during the gov't shutdown. lots of folks won't get any money back now.
trump is a drama parade. he turns on at home press, our freedom of speech, attempts to turn americans against each other, hate crimes rose 17% & they were committed by white people.
almost everybody around him has admitted to crimes. trump is president. you don't think he can tell his guys do things and if it goes wrong he can always say it's witch hunt? 😂 -

Even if he is able to build a wall, the bill contains a lot of conditions relaxing immigration control and enforcement and a whole bunch of amnesty conditions for illegal immigrants already in the country.

Trump has changed bigly in the last few weeks, and the media aren't chasing him as much either. I assume he has done a deal with the brain-bug jedis.
I seem to remember the same thing around 2004. They hated G.W. Bush like poison, but they also didn't want to replace him. -

$1.375 billion from the Homeland Security appropriations bill. This money cannot be used to build a wall but can be used to build other types of border barriers due to the way the bill is written
$600 million from the Treasury Department’s drug forfeiture fund, which would come from an executive action
$2.5 billion from the Defense Department’s drug interdiction program, which would come from an executive action

2019-02-15 at 2:06 PM UTCA wall would be part of the drug interdiction program. The money from the Military Budget is fine...they were gonna rebuild some military base in Florida that got damaged in a hurricane...not really a priority is it.
