   Jesus has been confused with a Greek philosopher who lived at the same time and was thought to restore life to the dead, according to a new documentary.
   
   Descriptions of Jesus' life and the miracles he performed in the New Testament may have been mistaken for Preacher Apollonius of Tyan.
   
   There are striking physical similarities between the two and there is more evidence that Apollonius existed.
   
   The Amazon documentary, Bible Conspiracies, suggests that Jesus might actually be Apollonius.

   I'd say he was actually scandinavian if he was a real person, considering that nazarene people had more in common genetically with scandinavians at the time.

   As he was fashioned by god as a tool to perform a specific job then he could literally have been anything...this argument about "was he white, was he black" etc etc is irrelevant as he could have been fucking purple if god had made him that way...the mistake is in assuming he complies with human traits...he wasn't human he was the son of god...if you believe all that bullcrap of course.
