    My mom was a med tech so she gets really enthusiastic about blood typing. She doesn't donate because she says they never end up using AB-, so they just throw it out a lot of the time.
    
    I liked giving blood in high school. I got out of class for an hour if I gave double red units and free oreos and orange juice. Gave a gallon before I graduated. Now I just sell plasma.
