The Cessna 414A came apart while flying over Yorba Linda, near Los Angeles, on Sunday evening
There was only one person in it at the time, a male pilot who has not yet been identified
The plane was seen falling from the sky in a fireball and landing on a family home, setting it alight
Neighbors flocked to the property and watched in horror as it was consumed by flames
They said the owners were throwing a Super Bowl party at the time of the crash
The plane eventually came to a stop in the backyard of a couple next door who were not harmed
Four people who were inside the house it destroyed first were killed and two people were injured
FAA records show the aircraft was made in 1981 and its registration was pending at the time of the crash

2019-02-05 at 2:04 PM UTCThat means the idiots in the FAA certified a 40-year old plane to fly. Pending registration means they've already OK'd it.
