I haven't seen Mepps in a long time but he's on my Facebook. Last I heard he found a wonderful woman and was extremely happy. Most of the folks from the 40's and some from DGD are on my Facebook. Muff is still teaching abroad and doing awesome. I'd love to have a way to connect with Westy and Yikes. At one point I had Yike's # but lost it.

What site was that? I've been to Master's and shoot I don't remember his name but the older guy from DGD but both are dead

I’m happy for Mepps. He was a good egg.
There were a few I would have expected to find this place. I’m surprised they didn’t.
Maybe there wasn’t another forum that was by invite only .. a couple of people mentioned it. One said it was mainly S&D peeps though.
The only poster here that I actually saw say anything about leaving to another site because he was invited was “Jake” not 40’s Jake.
There are several posters from DH that live in the state I now live in or close by. Trucker was my buddy and I actually thought about looking him up for a business thing.

Datehookup was interesting at times. It became a place stuck on a loop. The past was the present with extras and add ons by posters who supposedly knew nothing of the past but harped on other posters in the present for their past. ..
It was cliques and daily "break ups" of said cliques. Everyone tried to outpost the other other.Each of the forums had a different moral guidebook that if not abided by you would be gang bashed. For example sex and dating chat would have topics such as "do you like being gang banged" while dating general discussion would have "would you kiss on the first date?".
Wanna be trolls had multiple obvious profiles to attack others. This was usually done so said trolls could appear to be attacking others as a group when really it was 10 of the same person.
Blocking and reading behind those blocks made conversations confusing at best. There was little way to defend a block and talk but it happened all the time.
It was very little about dating or hooking up but more of a hypocritical attack forum site
