Actually i'm better at hearing/reading German than typing/speaking it. I kind of know the sounds but i don't know the rules if that makes sense. Of course, being Dutch, my language is closely related to German but still. Also, i understand learning Dutch is particularly hard for native English speakers. I guess it makes sense, but it also doesn't since the language that is most closely related to English is Frisian. which is a strange amalgamation of Dutch German and English and is spoken as a sort of dialect in The Netherlands. After Frisian Dutch is the most closely related to English.
I dunno, lanugage is fun.

we used to have another darkie, i cant remember if he was called der darche or tacho or what, but he was very into german as well.
