Good day, all.
It's colder than a well-digger's faithful husband in Alaska.
Hope y'all have left your water faucets dripping and the cabinet doors open if you don't have your pipes heat wrapped.
Serious frostbite can occur within 5 minutes of exposure.
If there is no need for you to be outside, stay in.
Don't forget about your outdoor pets. Bring them in for a couple of days until the weather front passes. (This is one reason you need to have a pet kennel on hand.)
Enjoy your old tattered bathrobe, slippers, coffee or hot cocao but stay warm.🌹 -

2019-01-30 at 1:33 PM UTC-15 here and dropping.
Why are we suppose to keep the cabinets open? Damn it I think I should go home. I didn’t do any of those things 😱
Stupid valley Cali women .. pfftttt -
2019-01-30 at 1:35 PM UTCKeep the cabinets open to get heat to the walls behind them, and the pipes they contain. I’ve got my water running at a slow drip in one sink upstairs and downstairs. My neighbor had a water line break last year due to the cold. What a disaster!

Ok ... I have a concrete slab .. most of the pipes are under ground under the slab and the kitchen sink is in a center island. Bathrooms are not running along exterior walls
The laundry room pipes are insulated (pipes are running along wall to garage ... so I guess I’m good. Though I didn’t leave the faucets dripping ... -
2019-01-30 at 1:48 PM UTCYou should be good! I meant to leave the water running last night, but I forgot. Got em going this am though.

I was in the process of buying a new car at that time. I was test driving a new style Mustang. I learned rather quickly that I wouldn't own a Mustang. -
