This isn't news. High IQ is generally maladaptive and just as much a result of unintended genetic factors as low IQ - in other words geniuses are basically just retards, but in the other direction. -

Yeah that always made sense to me. Taking in and able to recall too much data. I can see why people of above average intelligence are able to rationalize their way into bad situations. -
