The homeless people that are worth giving your money to are too proud to ask for it. The only people that are asking you for money are either not homeless at all or are going to buy drugs with it
Unless somebody is clearly missing a limb, donating to a person "flying a sign" is doing nothing but enabling somebody's drug addictionThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

You're just enabling them to not get off their ass. I've had addiction for most of the last 25 years and never begged once. Wouldn't have the shame to it. Imagine so.ebody you knew walked past and saw you.

you wouldnt believe me how many cats and dogs in my neighborhood direlicted their duties because they;ve acquired the skills to beg for food.
