We had gooseberry bushes and rhubarb stalks growing in our back yard where I grew up. My parents are/were from the country.
I’ve had rhubarb pie and loved it. Bet it’s good as a cobbler. I like tart flavors.
If i was a bunneh I would've eaten your gooseberry bushes and rhubarb stalks all up, if. You. Know. What. I. Mean.
If I was a bunny wabbit I would have eaten it all up, but I got to eat it all up as a kid. We also had plums, grapes, and pears growing in the backyard. I could stay outside all day in the summer as a kid, and never go in to eat. I know that sounds foreign to many, but staying outside all day was cool “back in the day”!
^^^^^that was quite a tangent I went on, I’m stoned.

OH, I KNOW THE BIT.
I spent so much time outside as a kid that I do the opposite now. Ying and yang and stuff balancing out my life. XD

I dunno.. off 101 on the way to the Richmond/San Rafael bridge. If I'm in the city, i sometimes go in there because it's convenient and usually quicker than other safeways. if there is no parking, don't go in. it's usually too crowded during this period.

Has she ever made them with fresh peaches? They're really pungent and they're like a berry in how condensed the flavor is. Totally different than store bought peaches.
Tomatoes, and strawberries have some of the biggest differences in freshly picked vs store bought. I don't even like eating store bought ones any more, they hardly taste like anything. I eat fresh tomatoes by themselves though. I never knew they were supposed to have so much flavor.
Apples I don't think I notice any difference whatsoever.
Yeah she always makes it fresh. When I think of 4th of July, first thing that comes to mind is a hot dish of cobbler with the latticed flaky buttery crust criss-crossing the top. It's basically peaches, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, diced butter and a tiny bit of almond extract. Basically plop that in a corningware dish and cover with a basic flaky pie crust 20 minutes into the bake, and you're in fucking heaven. There's a reason I weigh so much, and it's because my mom probably could've been a chef somewhere.

This is one of the greatest songs out of the 1980s. but the band had one problem after another and never made it to the top of the charts not because they weren't great enough but because of Management issues along with the band falling apart before touring the USA
this is from 2002 when they got back together to do a tour.
Buy this Album if you ever see it at a use record shop or go online to Chameleons UK and support Mark and his band if you have the funds to do so. or see Chameleons Vox (which is half of the original band including the singer)
One of the greatest Manchester Bands of the UK during the 80s post punk period
