   I guess I talk to myself, in a sense, but not under any kind of delusion that there's anyone else present when I do.

   There are few things I fear more than full-blown schizophrenia.
   
   Even moderate schizophrenia looks frightening. I have a friend who has it and it's just incredibly tragic to watch how his life is affected by it.
   
   I also have a bit of it in my family tree, so I genuinely worry about it.
   
   I wish I could lighten the mood with a joke or something, but I genuinely do fear schizophrenia, and feel for anyone who has it.

    Well, for one, he's pretty much relegated to a life of celibacy. That alone would be horrible.
    
    But also, not only do people generally find him "weird," but he himself always assumes that other people find him "weird" anyway. It ends up being kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy, and thus a positive feedback cycle that just keeps building upon itself.
    
    People generally avoid him, and so I'm one of the few people who hang out with him and talk to him on the phone and all that (and I really don't like talking on the phone).
    
    He deserves a normal life.

    Most of the time I vent out loud but not really to myself. Kinda like primal scream without the scream ... I visualize future happenings in my head. That gets me in trouble sometimes though. I’ve dropped to my knees and begged god or the energy beyond to take away certain shit I just couldn’t deal with ... but when I want to converse, and no one is around I post online. In hopes I don’t end up talking to myself ...
