If theres a God, I wish it would break character sometime and do something crazy.

2019-01-11 at 1:40 AM UTCLike... say there is a famous trial, and the person is getting sentenced and its being shown live on T.V., and a shitload if people are watching, Make the person dissapear into thin air as he's being sentenced, that would be such a mindfuck, we'd all be freaking out and wondering what the fuck

2019-01-11 at 2:31 AM UTCI don't mean to endorse a hypothetical creative deity, but you should consider that we're the crazy thing it might've done to break character. The inception of the human race is a miraculous event at the center of every old mythology and is so essential that it's easily overlooked.

Unless it had nothing to do with his request and G-d did so regardless of what any man had wished for. and it was-so. -
2019-01-11 at 2:53 AM UTCThis possibility hasn't been ruled out either.

2019-01-11 at 2:58 AM UTCI just had this weird memory after reading the OP that I don’t know if it was a memory or something else ...
does anyone know if executions were ever televised in the early 70’s? -

I don't remember seeing any on TV but it was a much "softer" time so I doubt that public executions were broadcast on TV. Hells Bells, I think married couples in sitcoms were still sleeping in twin beds. -

they hung Suddam and it was leaked on tv right away after one of the guards video taped it on his shitty iraqi cell phone.
they gave a warning but it was still public in the eyes of all people
