Yes, either increase your income or cut your expenses. Why not both?

I pay more in taxes than a lot of people earn in a year. Some would call that unfair. Others would push their way to the front of the line with their palms up.

I'v only collected Unemployment. you know, What My taxes paid into. and not for long. I went looking for work

My family nor I have ever tried to get on Section 8. I tried for SS but it's a mother fucker unless you have friends who work in those offices who make it easier for certain people to get it while others like me have to wait years. fuck that. fuck Social Security. and fuck those who suck the teet off the system

Unemployment benefits isn’t welfare. It’s funded by insurance premiums paid by your (former) employer, not by taxes.

Somewhat clever, although it's a tad hypocritical that he criticizes Socrates for his sexual predilections.

Also, psychoanalysis is not really taken seriously within contemporary psychology these days. Allen was obsessed with Freudian psychoanalysis for some reason.

Oh, totally! If you get cancer, you should just work through it while you're on chemotherapy to pay for your expenses. And if your child gets cancer and you're a single parent barely making enough to get by as it is? Just work more, lazy parasite. Put your kid to work; teach them self-reliance and the value of hard work.

To be honest though, as much as it annoys me when people are like that (I used to work at a billing support call center for a major cell phone service provider, so I dealt with people like that ALL. THE. TIME.), but their fears are not entirely baseless. I mean, one thing I had to deal with a lot at the call center was people calling in asking about that text message they just got "from us" asking them to follow a link and enter their banking info to receive some kind of refund "from us". Tragically, a lot of people fall for it, especially senior citizens for example, but it's because they don't yet have the experience with technology, as well as the "street smarts" that a lot of us have, to be able to distinguish right away between a legitimate request for banking and personal info and a fraudulent one.

that sounds like a job where you could come in boofed and still work your little heart out
