Killing Someone At Random

Narcissism mimics ASPD on some level, if you are the only person that truly matters then why would you care if other people get hurt right?
I have something. I just can't figure it out. Ever since I was young I have been different. But not in the typical way.
It never faded as I got older. I question it everyday but have never been able to pinpoint what it is.
Honestly, I can't tell if I truly have emotions or if I just psych myself into thinking that I have them. Same thing with conscience. I can harm people when I'm feeling great and healthy, and even though I know the effect, I still do it even if there isn't a financial reward. I also have taken risks that require "nerve" and I am completely calm.
Maybe I'm some kind of mixed type. -

2019-01-08 at 11:45 PM UTCArguably you can't kill someone at random without going through a third-party for the selection process. You could kill the nearest person indiscriminately, but it would be on the basis of their proximity and therefore not random. You could blindfold yourself and walk until you bump into a person, then uncover your eyes and kill them, but you would still be targeting the demographic of people who live near your hunting ground. By choosing a victim, no matter how arbitrary your method, you are distinguishing them for one reason or another; most likely on the basis of their availability as a victim. If you think you're killing at random, you're really killing the convenient. The criminal psychologist will eventually be able to establish this motivation and they'll label you a low-functioning psychopath.
What you need is a Murder ButtonTM: when pressed, a randomly selected organism somewhere in the universe dies instantly and you can't be caught. That would be random, you don't have to get your hands dirty, and you won't get diagnosed cluster B and do time. PM for Venmo details. -

2019-01-09 at 12:34 AM UTCA long and durable enough chain would be far more expensive than my button and you would be deprived of the enjoyment of pressing it. Furthermore, I discourage interference with traffic on ethical grounds.

2019-01-09 at 12:45 AM UTCThere would be nothing exciting about a murder button.

2019-01-09 at 12:54 AM UTCIf I'm being honest, you're right. I acquired a warehouse full of them but the excitement wore off after a few months of frequent use. Unfortunately, I've fostered a global dependency and if I stop there will be no institution of death and the world economy will collapse, so my solicitation is really better thought of as outsourcing. They really are enjoyable for a while, though, and the fun lasts longer when they're used in moderation. For a modest entry price, you could be a very specific kind of angel and potentially sponsor the death of a random child on the other side of the world. A little bit of murder is regulatory. You have a moral obligation to unburden me of all these buttons.

I have told him this exact same thing numerous times before.
Originally posted by esbity I honestly don't see much good in people. People are fairly shitty in general. Selfish in nature but blind to it.
I reconsider if I am a psychopath since I at least know that I'm a piece of shit, I just don't care.
Look, I'm not an "expert", in the sense that I'm not a medically trained psychiatrist, nor am I a clinically trained psychologist.
But for what it's worth, I do have a bachelor's degree in psychology.
Combine that with ~34 years of life experience, and a bunch of mental health issues of my own, and it puts me in a position where I can at least make a somewhat educated guess here...
You are just going through a stage in your life where you are trying to figure out who you are, and you may find yourself having thoughts, maybe even desires or fantasies, that just seem completely screwed up to you. This, on its own, does not make you a sociopath/psychopath/etc.
It just means you might have some slightly antisocial tendencies, or maybe you're just having NORMAL/TYPICAL violent fantasies, and are thus assuming that, since nobody else around you is mentioning having the same thoughts and desires, you are some kind of deviant.
The way I see it, is that you may just be more aware and more honest about your own thoughts, urges, and desires, than most people tend to be.
Don't let that turn you into a full-blown psychopath.
Stop making these attention-seeking threads online and get some PROFESSIONAL help. There's no shame in that.
If you want, you can even PM me if you really want, but, again, I am not a professional psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. You would probably benefit from the help of a certified professional, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I've been seeing psychiatrists and clinical psychologists since I was a teenager. -

Death buttons could be the next pet rock. -

2019-01-09 at 7:24 AM UTCSo Im not a sociopath. Good for me. I'm just an honest person that steals a lot. I should become a youth paster. But I do like the idea of a warehouse full of Murder ButtonsTM.
What should I do with myself now? -

Correct.
A little thing called "innocent until proven guilty". Simply stating they did a "criminalizeable" deed doesn't mean they did...you have to be convicted of a crime to be a criminal. -
