    Fuck you all.
I hate this planet,I hate this whole plane of existence.Fuck you.
I hate the fact that that I have to type I hate you.
My computer hates me too, I just spilled a drink on the keyboard and all hell broke loose.
You would think a mechanical keyboard could type under water if need be but no its nothing but a piece of shit just like everything else.
Tomorrow I"m going to read this and be all "wtf" and not remember so now its time to smoke some weed :):):):)

Screw TKLs, especially N<100% ones, I don't live in some overpopulated hellhole (well, relatively speaking) I can afford the deskspace for a full sized motherfucking keyboard with a 10key and a vibrating fucking dildo attached if I so choose. "oh no, my poor limp little wrist can't handle moving all that distance!", bitch learn to use a computer without constantly grabbing dick your mouse or if that's too much use your mouse with your left, it takes a couple of hours to days to get used to and then you've got nothing to complain about.

I bought a cheap keycool board and swapped the caps. Switches are fine and the configuration is sane, no-nonesense. Standard caps are your typical textured high-profice DCS whatever, white so they show grime pretty bad, didn't use them long enough to tell if the type wears or they shine, texturing suggests no on the shine. Probably would have been fine but I've always prefered DCAs personally.

aha, I was more pointing out that it was a 40% orthopedic layout keyboard - the first one I posted was 60% layout, ie. no number pad and no directional keypad, very compact but still very usable, just takes a little while to get used to using the control keys. the planck is even smaller and keys are in a grid, not staggered like a standard QWERTY keyboard

I honestly don't use it much because it's difficult to go back and forth between more regular layouts, but I put a fair bit of effort into building it (even got metal keycaps)

    will take a photo later

That's pretty cool tbh, but ergonomic orthopaedic layouts are unnecessary imho. I do want to see the keyboard you made though.

Is the idea that you use it with your thumbs? Why the grid layout, just to save some space or is there supposed to be some better ergonomics to it or something?

lol orthopedic, meant to type ortholinear

also yeah, thumbs for the bottom row I think, the layout's supposed to be more 'natural' and less stressful on joints, but like I said I can't really get used to it because after using it for a while it gets hard to type on normal keyboards. I mostly just thought it looked cool and got the kit off massdrop.

for work I use a V60 as above with different keycaps and a more solid frame, at home I use an Atlas Dawn because gaming can be difficult without a directional pad... the lack of number pad doesn't bother me much though
