Depends on your definition of brain damage. An autist is born with a different brain than a neurotypical person. A psychopath as well. A sociopath is someone that was born neurotypical, but like you said shit environment made them that way. I also think that the real trauma type -as in, injury- brain damage only applies to sociopaths. Get a super precise laser and zap the right areas in a neurotypical person's brain and i bet you could make them display sociopathic behaviors. -

Most people already have sociopathic behavior though. Some just moreso than others.
I honestly don't see much good in people. People are fairly shitty in general. Selfish in nature but blind to it.
I reconsider if I am a psychopath since I at least know that I'm a piece of shit, I just don't care. That would be more of a socio, or is that just ASPD in general. Both have ASPD though. Do aspies have ASPD? -

The DSM is weird. I'm not a specialist but ASPD is a catch all for a constellation of behaviors/personality traits that would commonly be associated with a psychopath or a sociopath.
Anti-social behavior doesn't mean someone has ASPD though. And yeah you're right, people can be assholes, but just being selfish or a douche doesn't make one a psychopath or a sociopath.
Let me ask you a question though. Why do you use emotional language like "I'm a piece of shit, I just don't care". I don't think you have ASPD to be frank.
Narcissism mimics ASPD on some level, if you are the only person that truly matters then why would you care if other people get hurt right? In general, ASPD has comorbidity with things such as narcissistic personality disorder, sadism or some sexually/paraphilia oriented pathology in serial killers.
