US basically owes everyone for their success...
Chinese for the railroads and laundries, African slaves for the early cotton/farming industry, French for bailing out their asses twice against the British, German/Austrian/jedi Scientists for their Space/Jet/Rocket/Pharmaceutical programs, Indians for 7/11s and dodgy doctors, The former superpowers knocking the hell out of each other in WW2 leaving the path open for the US to move in etc etc.
