Europeans happen to be pretty rich and educated due to fucking over other cultures for hundreds of years. Anybody who is rich and has an education will have little trouble immigrating to most places.
Brown people are more likely to be poor, so they make it difficult for them to get in. I have never seen any Mexican get citizenship in a reasonable amount of time like I see Europeans getting.
Recently helped someone get info/study for the civics test to become a citizen, and this is not a controversial point whatsoever. The citizenship process is supposed to take 6mo to 2yr on average.
It is quicker to come illegally, get a green card (easy) and then live here 5 years until you can apply for citizenship and take the test. Thats why people do it.
So like everyone said, the wall doesn't actually stop anyone. So few people are crossing through the desert. Ask an actual brownie and they'll tell you how rare it is. I only know of one person who has done it. It's needlessly dangerous because you can literally just walk across the border on the sidewalk without papers in some areas. -

The wall is obnoxiously expensive for something which would only stop a small minority of people. America is jot an endless pool of money and resources. This is billions of dollars and years of construction. Plus if we're defending it with armed guards? Lulzy as fuck.
People will still just walk in, legally, and then stay as long as they want. If you want less immigrants you should be looking at reducing the amount of green cards handed out. -

And fyi not that I agree with trump on errrr ting but he has talked about reducing the amount of green cards as well, but the deep state (the derpadew state) undercuts him all the time preventing real progression.

I have something like 100 people in my family who I see at least yearly (not a typo, I have a massive family). Not a single one of them has come here by crossing through the desert. Every single one drove or flew across.
Usually the border crossers are low level drug mules who do not want to risk detection at border scanners. -

People will dig under, climb over, and blow their way through.
In reality there is no way we could guard the border with people. Would be crazy expensive to guard thousands of miles. And without that the wall is totally useless. -
