iPods with the scroll wheel were so comfy. It was a brilliantly satisfying way to scroll through media.

The year was 2006
I had bought my first ever ipod, the 30gb one, it was very slim yet slightly heavy due to the glass enclosure.
I was so excited to have this world of audio I would create and take with me everywhere.
These days you take these types of things for granted, they're freely available everywhere and you don't even need to download them, it's like coming across a jpg now, the novelty has worn out.
The fact that my iPod could play video too ... Was mind blowing.
I remember being in a grocery store with my iPod watching a video being so giddy and amazed at this new technology.
Now I watch videos on smartphones and it's like farting.
When I got my iPod full and loaded with musics, video and photos (porn) I had my pocket virtual reality machine of my dreams.
I still have my two ipods, my first ever one that is 30gb and my 160gb classic.
I might consider getting them repaired and using them again, it would be wonderful to relive those days.

The 30gb one could be for music and the 160gb for video (glorious 4:3)
Or I could upgrade the hard drives
