Altered reality

I realized the other day that I might not be experiencing what’s really happening in the world around me. My hearing is poor and most of the time I get tired of asking people to repeat and pretend I heard them and fake a response. Also my memory is pretty bad, a lot of conversations, things I’ve done, bought, etc I have no recollection of. My wife reminds me and I take her word for it. So I wonder how much I’m missing out on. It is nice doing things and appreciating how cool it is to do the first time for 2 or 3 times until I’m reminded. I’m sure my mind fills in gaps to make sense of things that are missed but how real is it. I contribute it to loud work environment, multiple serious concussions and heavy drug use in my 20s. All things I did to myself do not much to complain about. Maybe some hearing aids, Ritalin, and a tampon.

if you would use your third eye you would see that you do not live in the place or the time that you think you do. the people you think you know all died long ago. reality is a farce.

Hmm. I need a good psychedelic experience perhaps for enlightenment. It’s been 2 years

no, you need to walk from sunset to sunrise. your feet will help you remember where you are, when you are.
