I cry for stupid bullshit reasons all the time. TV shows make me weepy. Not even weepy TV shows, just regular shows. Dumb sci-fi shows. I'm a weepy little bish.

The only time I almost never cried was when I done something bad to make my mummy give me a whooping. I always smile at her and then ask “are you finished”? That gets her mad. One hell of a whiplash of that arm holding that leather belt. Whew, Jesus. You’d probably think I was a runaway slave or something. I could still taste the leather and the cringing echo sounds. The ‘hmphs’ with every swing. Lort Jesus.

Not really tbh really. My grandma died and so did my cousin on the same side of the family and I felt shitty but didn't cry. I think that crying is almost always a form of virtue signaling. When my dog died as a kid my mom got in my face and accused me of not loving my dog that I would swing on a swing in the cool summer breeze singing too.
I guess everyones differen't. When my cousin died, I saw my cousins come up and hug me and grab on me about how my cousin wasn't supposed to die.. and I just felt really uncomfortable.

Testosterone suppresses the crying response, which is why is't so rare for men to cry. I think it also suppresses emotions in general, and makes you more logical and cold emotionally.
Low or declining testosterone is associated with crying and being excessively emotional. It's normal for guys to have declining test as they age, and that's associated with their stereotypical cranky nature.
Ideally all aging people would be put on hormones, doctors don't want that for reasons that are murky and unscientific.
Interestingly estrogen is associated is associated with violence, that may be why women have higher rates of domestic abuse, also Africans in general have higher levels of both estrogen and testosterone.
