500 calorie diet

2018-12-09 at 3:56 AM UTCI have no appetite since yesterday afternoon. I had no appetite when I went to the hospital today, but I drank the soda they gave me because I was thirsty af because they didn't give me more water when I asked, and I ate the turkey "sandwich" because I figured eating something would probably be more beneficial than not.
I still haven't been hungry or been able to feel my stomach, but I decided to eat a can of Starkist solid white Albacore tuna in oil, because I don't want my muscles to be completely deprived. I bought a case of this particular kind of tuna because it was very reasonably priced on amazon, and it is HARD to find tuna in oil in the stores. Tuna in oil is always preferable, otherwise I have to add my own oil or gut it out. White tuna is also better in my opinion, although I don't mind chunk. Skipjack is a good medium. Genova Yellowfin tuna in olive oil is DAMN good tuna. Spiced/flavored Starkist in EVOO does not taste good (although I don't really care for EVOO so much.) Anyway, this particular set smells extra fishy and doesn't taste as good as it historically has. Seems suspect.
I don't feel "crappy" in the way that being food deprived usually makes me feel either. I feel nutritionally satisfied. Multivitamin is key here. I wonder how long it'll stay like this. I like this. I can lose weight without feeling like I'm starving. 1/2 lb per day w/o excercise. Which reminds me, I should start going to the gym again. 1 lb per day I bet with some stairstepping. I <3 stairstepping. -
2018-12-09 at 4:05 AM UTCTuna in oil is abhorrent and you should be ashamed.

I haven't looked on a scale in months, however the days of me eating whatever I want and not gaining weight are over. On drugs I didn't really gain or lose too bad.
I'm 5'10, roughly 145 +/-5. I gained at least 2-3 lbs Thanksgiving though, so I especially wanna grind those off. I've also gained some weight at inpatient because the food at club med is pretty good, and we ate ALL THE TIME. We were encouraged to eat as much as we wanted because they want most of us to gain some weight after drinking/tekking/junking. -

You sound anorexic. 145 is a decent weight, you shouldn't be trying to lose more. I'm 5'11 and ~165lbs. I've probably got more muscle than you though. BMI was 19.4 when I checked a few weeks ago and I've lost a little weight since then.
What's your goal here? Because you're like 15lbs from being considered underweight. -

i've lifted weights like, twice in my life. Therfor, even though I'm only 145, my midsection isn't big or chubby looking, but it's all fat and looks pretty blubbery with no shirt on. I want to gain muscle as well. and I think I can because I'm not doing the stupid 70% fat keto which causes muscle loss, I'm taking probably equal amount fat and protein, and not very many carbs. I'm not gonna do that long term either, because ketones are not healthy for your brain.
I am getting stronger and *slightly* gaining some muscle over time though, because I am starting to dip my toes into resistance and strength training. Once my gut is looking acceptable to me I'm gonna go on a reasonable calorie/balanced diet suitable for muscle building.
I should have lost 1 lb since yesterday. I was pretty hungry about 3:00-4:00, but luckily that went away and now I'm not hungry. Thinking about those butter coffee bullets, but honestly that sounds like snake oil that's negligably effective, if at all.
I also might be anorexic. -
2018-12-10 at 1:18 AM UTCJust start now. That fat is gonna help build muscle. I doubt you have as much fat as you're portraying here, and it'll go away naturally as you exercise anyway. Especially if you keep a deficit. This idea that you need to attain a certain level before you can build muscle (if thats your end goal) is silly imo.
Have you checked your BMI? -
2018-12-10 at 1:33 AM UTCI don't know how

2018-12-10 at 4:01 AM UTCI go to a gym sometimes with my friend who has a membership. I checked my BMI on the machine there. I really want one but a decent one is like 50 bucks.
