Seriously, I don't eat hardly any sugar, and when I eat a handful of gummi worms I almost instantly get an uncomfortable "hot" and almost pre-sweat feeling in from my upper lip to my forehead, and like a stimulant comedown feeling for a few minutes.
Then I start seeing some false flies, becos I don't tolerate stimulants well, and even a cup of Reindeer Coffee can free the bees from the corners of my spheres.
Has anybody researched the pharmacokinetics of sucrose? What it binds to?

Are you literally talking about 'getting a sugar high'?
The other day it was rectal B12 vitamin supplementation.
I admire your bold creativity in finding new ways to put chemicals in your body, but you might be going a little too far.

I am not personally a pharmacist.
Psychopharmacology is a hobby/interest of mine though.
But it isn't really the 'pharmacology' of sucrose, but more the gustatory experience. The whole idea of a "sugar high" is, I think, some kind of myth invented by parents everywhere to describe their hyperactive kid after they drank some kool-aid.

I used to have this pathway memorized. Now I just remember the gist of it.
