Country & Western= For the glory God and Man or "Only two kinds of music. Country & Western"

Motown/Soul R&B (60-80s) It will be our time soon (power struggle) but until then lets party till dawn

Rock, Metal = Rock & Roll will never die. Party till the supplies run out

Proto Punk, Punk, Post Punk, New Wave= everything is just Fab and Chic' if you're on the inside

Gothic, Emo, Dark Wave= What difference does it matter.. we'll all be dead tomorrow.

Tech, Electronic, House= Yeah, Yeah.. Keep it going.. Yeah, Yeah

Classical= Do you happen to have any Grey Poupon' (dabs faggoted nose with a hankie)

    what do you guys think?

Those attitudes are a fabricated stereotype made of whatever popular artists wanted people to hear. I don't know that they exist outside of our own idea that they're supposed to exist. I mean its what we saw on TV right?

they're what I experienced by the trendster who made that music more appealing for the short sale market (the first 1-2% that makes more money than the period of time that follows). you're right. every song by every artist has it's own micro statement to each individual. I agree with you 100%

BTW this thread was spawned by watching this Magazine video.. his attitude was just mocking the fab people of france and other fashion-culture it seems

Yrah it really depends. A lot of rock can have a depressing or suffering message for example. Not just a party hardy.

The music you listened to in your teens is the greatest influencer on your music tastes forever, that's it.
