Trying to think about how to go about this. I eventually want an affordable farm with a horse and dog. Could I get my gun rights back? Could I ever attain enough for an interest bearing account to net a million a year? Will I be poor forever? Will I gain the courage to finally put the moves on my cousin??? Well there are two major schools of thought on the subject:
1. "It's impossible to just 'pull yourself up from your bootstraps'." People who are born poor will always remain poor, due to capitalism or something like that.
2. Your lot in life is malleable and can be influenced by the decisions you make, and the things you truly commit yourself to.
Personally, I lean more to the second way of thinking.
I'm a self-taught computer programmer, using freely-available YouTube videos, a few books here and there, and a whole lot of dedication to hobby projects to gain experience.
If your career is not up to your ambitions/standards, you can always resolve to change that and put in some hard work and a little ingenuity.
You will also have to take risks.
But it is, at least in my opinion, possible to transcend from rags to "riches".

I have a niece and her and her boy friend got a DOG instead of a car,the dog got sick now they cant afford a car.
Don't get a dog, don't have kids, don't buy shit you cant afford and you will be ok.

Okay, are you trolling now?
I can't quite tell for sure.
Starting an oil company requires a tremendous investment.
You need rigs, workers, land, drilling rights, etc.
And then you need to deal with distribution, as well as marketing yourself against other oil companies with long and reputable histories.
If you're being serious and not trolling, I would suggest you start small.
Nothing wrong with having big ambitions, but you have to temper them with some realism.

25, yeah you need to get busy. If you aren't a drug user I suggest getting into power generation. Check into the power companies and the generator companies in your area. You will start at the bottom but give it 10 years and you will make good money. There used to be a saying that all you need to survive is food, clothing and shelter. While that is true if all hell breaks loose, right now, power generation is where it's at.
