   That's to encourage you to listen repeatedly and think about it trying to understand it, like a baby trying to learn English.
   
   There's musical tricks as well, like slight atonalities, multiple tracks laid on top of each other, etc
   
   I'm not opposed to modern production, and good music is great, but when a song sticks in your head but is also objectively shit it really annoys me.

   Don't need 5 minutes. This is pretty basic up-tempo happy pop EDM but that's perfectly OK and does not in fact make you gay.

   The funny thing is, i've heard this song before and didn't know it's name and that can only mean one thing in my world. I heard it play on the radio. Now i don't casually listen to the radio like some 70's basic bitch. But i go places where people have the radio playing so there's that.
