Yes, I remember the dhl box thing too. I ordered like a 1000 boxes to my then boyfirends grandmothers house... a few other people too. It was funny to get calls telling how in their disbelief this dhl guy just left a fuckton of boxes on their porch. i recall someone making funiture and inviting the dhl guy in their garage and got a pic of him sitting on their recently constructed dhl box couch.

I once won a webcam for being one of the early entrants to a giveaway. Another time I won $100 off some site. I can't remember the purpose behind it, it was a take on a cheap pay to click site with a twist. There was this roulette wheel you could spin, possible after accumulating points, and it turned out to be legit. I actually got the check and cashed it out no problem. During high school living with my parents, that was pretty sweet. I stopped after that, the odds of it happening again were so low my adherence to rationalism caused their expected psychological impact to fail.
