2016-02-26 at 6:49 PM UTCI could be wrong, but I think totse/zoklet as it was is over. I don't think it will exist like that again. We have this site, there is another one called totseans that is in this gay social media style (I guess) that makes it hard to read for someone like me. There is this forum called the beer barrel http://thebeerbarrel.net/ I think is run by SLIM (the person who invited me never actually said that) but it reminds me of him. It's supposed to be a less gay version of Stormfront.
But because of all the site closures, I don't think it will ever be the same. So what will happen to all of the anarchist, racist, anti-Semitic, meth cooks and criminals? I think the spirit of totse still lives like on dark web markets. I think the focus should be spreading the spirit of totse offline. I'm sure some will become serial killers if they haven't already (especially now that the average totsean would be approaching their 30's). Probably some more spree killers. I'm sure some more will overdose, sadly. As far as a group, when I think of a group that embodied the spirit of totse it would have to be the Manson Family. I doubt most of us are as charismatic as Charles Manson, but for the ones who are you are the perfect people for this. You could sell and do drugs, start a family and have them kill Miley Cyrus to start a race war.
...Or maybe we just all go to facebook or twitter?
EDIT: Totse and Zoklet probably influenced most of our views, taught us how to make drugs, how to do jenkem...so now I think it's most important for the totse crowd to make their mark on the world rather than constantly looking for the new totse. -

If you really want a place worth coming to, you have to have a purpose, a plan, some organization, delegation, a framework, a team, etc. Lanny just wants the place to sit on its ass taking up webspace for nothing. I honestly hate to say it, but if this place is ever going to amount to anything, Lanny needs to not have anything to do with it. He has no vision when it comes to a good BBS. That much has been proven in the time since we got here.

I like to drink beers wiht fruit flavors like designer beers that have like rasberries in it. In Poland you can even ask star trek he will tell you you can buy additional juices or like flavors to throw into any beer for a couple of zloty or like 0 cents. Ive never seen this in any other country where they add flavors to beers or juixes. They even have hot beers here. -

And every subsequent iteration of totse went to shit because of the same attitude. I find it hilarious that people were (and still are) mad that I hard deleted everything on RDFRN. They chose to fuck the site. It used to be that people wanted to invest time into a site and see it succeed. -

At least when I did the screwing over there was an alternative and a plan for where the community would be going and the concencus was that sanctuary was shit because of its Admin. When you did it you just sperged out and got butthurt that you wouldnt have power anymore and didnt even give people the time to find out the site was closing. Much less spread the word that this place was around.

2016-02-27 at 1:57 PM UTCOne of the big issues is that you guys aren't understanding the scope of this site. When RDFRN closed, Lanny opened this with the caveat that he wouldn't be spending a lot of time on it. He said that he works a lot with computers and basically doesn't want to invest a ton of time and resources into this.
I've made it pretty clear that I'd be willing to act as an operations admin and learn whatever programming language or whatever I needed to patch up the issues with the site, make it more secure, and everything else. However I have not heard back from Lanny. In fact, I even have a few ideas as to what would bring a lot of attention to this site. The thing is that it isn't necessarily going to attract anyone who will be worth staying yet because the site has nothing to offer.
It's like Obbe said last year, if we want a good community, we can individually contribute to it instead of complaining about everyone else. If a few hard working individuals do that, you'll have stuff worth reading.
I personally don't believe the old totse community is possible with this site. If I started my own BBS I'm confident that I could build something better within a few years, but it would be heavily moderated in order to work well and most of you guys wouldn't like it.
