And, apparently, neither of us is the worse for wear.
Years pass and one may cross your path who was meant to be the one that you were to share your time, life and love with but because of circumstances, some of which you may not have even been aware of, the opportunity is lost.
Now, as thoughts run scattered through your mind you try to justify what has occirted over the years and try to justify each ocassion you recall.
Is he shy? Is he just not interested? Is he engaged, involved, married? Will he signal me that he's interested? Will he make the first move? Do I want him to make the first move?
Questions. Questions. Questions.
Ask and answer -- how does one know the other isn't lying?
Will you meet me in person? Would you ask me your questions where you can see my face as I respond?
I'd like to meet your family, and have you meet mine. Does this sound like something you would approve of?
Has our time come and gone without either of us acknowledging that we were within reach of each other?
Did I know how you felt?
Do I know now?
Is forever forever past?
