Why can't he just give us some straight answers?

If there was proof of this I'd be incredibly thankful, but there isn't proof, so it isn't enough. I'd really LIKE to believe in a God but he's gotta work with me here if he wants my support.

All he did was give us life, we are the ones who make it needlessly complicated.
His answer is the universe and the world around you. You can choose to believe that it's all accident, the big bang just happened randomly and all that energy and elements have always been there.

I like to think the reason physics, time and space seem to function so well in tandem together is because they follow laws, and if you believe quantum univrse theory then there are an infinite combination of those laws existing at all times.

I believe God is a powerful extradimensional being that created all dimensions and has powers greater than any mortal can comprehend. It seems like a big mystery but it makes sense in a way if you just accept that you will never be able to truly comprehend how vast and complex reality is.

"God", in the sense of an all-powerful creator of the universe, could very-well exist, and that wouldn't conflict with my world-view.

But the anthropomorphic conception of God that most people hold to be reality, that's a whole other enchilada.

If God is real we will be able to prove he is real eventually.

Unless we die before then. Then we won't. :D

My bets are on us all dying well before that happens.

But it's worth further investigation, that's for sure.

I've always likened it to discovering radiation. Doesn't mean it didn't exist before. There were symptoms and we looked, then science happened.

I imagine a god would come about in a similar fashion.

That is a wise way to look at it.

Symptoms of God's presence are not in short-supply. We just need a scientist with the right skill-set and tools/methodology to find the source of those symptoms.

Not proud of it, but it is what is.

If you need to vent, go for it, or even PM me. If there's one thing about me anyone here should know, it's that I don't go around blabbing my mouth on shit that was said in private.
