I get $1000 tomorrow, and another $1500 on the 15th.

Yet I'm broke as fuck today.

Had I not the foresight to stock up on alcohol, I'd be depressed and bored.

Ah well, time to take another shot.

Tomorrow's only, what, a day away, tops?

nothing about your thread has anything to do with nigga richness

If you got 50k tomorrow and spent it all on tires and rims without a car that would be indicative of niggerrichness.

getting 2.5k a month just means you're not on welfare

Well, I do pull in like 4k a month, and I do spend it on extravagant things...

Assuming drugs are extravagant enough, and rims and tires need not be the only wasteful purchases to qualify.

That reminds me, some of that extravagant spending was sending e-strangers money.

I sent Ghost $20 in bitcoin just cuz.

But he's no longer an e-stranger. He's fam now, so that doesn't really count anymore as 'wasteful spending'.

And since when is 2.5k welfare?

Got damn I be living in the wrong country.

In Canada, even on PWD (disability-version of welfare), you only get like $1,100 a month.

I know cuz I been on that shit.

Just now pulled myself up outta the welfare struggle and making (at least I like to pretend what constitutes) big scrilla.

Money has no actual real value anyways and everything is hyperinflated and costs way too much because the jedis and Chinese have to sell it to eachother 500 times before it reaches the consumer.

I remember when I eavesdropped on two old rich people and they said "I only got $500,000 saved up, I need to double that if I want to spend the rest of my life in comfort" and the dude was in his 70's

The more you own means you have to pay more taxes and more bills which means you need to keep contributing to the system or else it all goes away. Millionaires can't afford to retire because they own too much expensive shit and have responsibility.

That's why old people get to crotchety about social security because they know the only way they can retire is if the system is in their favor.

But money be bringing them sweet, sweet drugs that sustain me.

Retirement is fucking lightyears away in my mind.

I just wanna get (and stay) high.

Is that too much to ask?

you make more than I make on paper. I said 2.5k just me and you're not on welfare because that's basically the minimum a 30-40 hour work week at minimum would net a month. That's good you feel adequately rewarded for your work, that's an important thing to have in a vocation

I do feel rewarded making 60k a year, but that's because I love my job.

I still have that burning ambition to strive for more, and that I very well might do.

But 60k a year to do something I fucking love doing... That's what life is about.

Dude them student loans be killin' me.

And the irony is that I work in an entirely different field from what I studied officially.

I'm a psychology major, philosophy minor... But I'm a software developer by trade.

I love what I learned though.

Life is a winding road, and never a straight path.

The key is to learn from it, no matter what happens.

Do you mean that in some kind of metaphorical "goals take effort" kind of way? Or are you literally condoning robbery, armed or otherwise?

If it's the former, then yeah, I totally agree.

If it's the latter... My moral compass is strong and unyielding.

I believe might is right, but the only thing worth fighting is the system itself.
