   The whole of the the cosmos simply exists to serve as a testament which we can look to for proof of our creator in the times our faith is weak, or simply to view it and praise the maker of all things in times when it is strong.    It doesn't mean much to you personally. To many people this realization can change their whole perspective on life and death, can change the way they live their life. If you're not one of those people you won't feel the same way. I do not know of any deeper spiritual feeling than what this realization brings to me.

    No matter is ever really lost, only converted into something else. The same with energy. The same with your life. It's never truly lost. The only way you could truly lose your life is if the one who made matter and energy and your life decides you should be lost. Then you will be lost forever, never to return. Hades is the Lake of Fire and Sulfur, and there is no returning from that place, once you are thrown in there.
