It's weird how little people remember from the 2000s, and especially 2008 to 2012.
I remember how there was a feeling of no hope, like there was no room for anyone in the economy back then.
I graduated right into the recession, and was straight on welfare. There were no jobs.
It was pretty shitty. Roads were way quieter, there were no traffic jams, shops were empty, no one was spending money, and no one expected things to ever get better. At the same time every week hundreds of billions of our money was being given to the people and the banks who caused the recession.
It felt like we had been completely betrayed, owned, and had no way to fight back.

I dropped out right before the economy ate shit. 😂

It was great, I went from working class to middle class overnight and my parents stopped doing drugs.
