Well OP, if that's the case, I'm not sure you're a true psychopath, since a true psychopath probably wouldn't seek out validation.
Also, it has been found that there are many diagnosed psychopaths that do not actually harm anyone.
The common consensus on the matter is that psychopaths, while maybe having a hard time with it, can still ultimately discern the difference between right and wrong.

Genuine psychopaths manage to almost erase their entire conscience over the course of their lives, and because they have created a void, a vacuum where their conscience once was, they have to fill the chasm up with something, so they carefully examine those who do have consciences, then cleverly imitate their words, actions, dress and mannerisms. This is how they keep on fooling themselves into thinking they have a conscience and can still continue in their evil ways at the same time. They couldn't live with the conscience they were given and continue on their course of desire, because of the gross disparity, so they engineer a work-around: a counterfeit conscience.
