Perhaps the Chinese were digging for gold but stories of secret societies coming all up in it and making it a den of treasury.

I won't say what secret group but well known in the Bay Area. same under the Army building on Mission street San Francisco..and all under Golden Gate Park and near the golf course off of 32nd-33rd? My brother, cousin, some friends and I found this tunnel with graffiti in it which went on for at least half a mile.. we didn't go any further.. flashlight started to black out. you have to climb down some rebar or some shit.

That element has been there since FOREVER

the Michell Brothers lived in Rivertown (old antioch) back in the 1950s before opening the OFarrel club.

At first, Diane Einstein tried to close it down because of the coke parties (watch the film with Charlie Sheen and his older bro Emelio Estavez in it HBO I think) and umm the opening scene in the film says "Antioch California 1950(sumthen)" and their father teaching them to beat down people who disrespect them.

When Slick Willy (Brown) came into Mayorial power.. he totally praised the fuck out of the club. It's interesting that Will Farrel says "San Diego means Whaling Vagina" and Christian Applegate says "Doesn't it mean St Diego?" and there are Whales on the side of the O'Farrel club.

some snickering in the theater but I think it's an inside Joke. That dude is prolly into Spirit Cooking and shit.

What's the name of the dude from Testament that front lined the band? That you by chance (Lol kidding of course.. those dudes are famous as fuck now.. huh?)

then they fail at San Francisco Art Institute in film making and decide.. fuck it.. PORNO

I have little desire to go back to that fallen city. it hurts me to see how it fell to shit with high crime and dumping all of the sexual preditors in the city because "It has the cheapest rent for halfway houses and section 8"

What about Blackhawk taking their share, or Danville or Walnut Creek? Maybe Atherton and Los Gatos and Palo Alto?

Antioch is truly one of the prettiest cities in the Bay Area.. it is aesthetically beautiful. I have a theory why it became this problem. I mean don't get me wrong, People need to be rehabilitated. I hope the best for them, but it's unfair to put them on us and then call us NIMBY when they were gentrifying the fuck out of Oakland and San Francisco's Fillmore and told those people "Big houses that foreclosed for you to live in with state aid if you leave San Francisco (or Oakland or Richmond)".

Who's the real fucking NIMBY? Take your share of this.

I have other issues to deal with. But in all Honesty. I wish to get that copy of the 9/12/01-9/14/01 9-1-1 audio tape where the dispatcher told me the Police Officer saw the planes doing stunts and dive bombing maneuvers over the city of Antioch and Brentwood. telling me in later years "Did you call us from a cell phone.. something something.. don't have it" Where is the cop who radio it in. He doesn't have to honor a NDA if they forced him to sign it afterwards.

I couldn't find the opening scene. If you have netflix.. give it a rent. it's a decent movie, a bit fucked up of a lifestyle. I'v seen people kind of cokehead in the late 70s and early 80s.. older than me. It was wild times for sure.
