The taste of Sulbutiamine

  1. #1
This is really something else. I can't describe it all but it is by far the worst tasting thing I'e ever experienced. Holy mo. I usually put it in capsules but today I decided to put into my Vitamin shake. Ey... This is nasty. Worse than foul eggs and rotten meat. Worse than Whale fat. It also lingers in your mouthforever. Whoa, this is bad. I still have half a cup infront of me. It's so bad that you can't just chug it, you immediatly taste it. Ugh...fuck.

Hubertus once wanted me to snort this shit. It's not watersoluble, though. If you rail up Sulbu, you'll need a new nose. Period.

It tastes nasty. Good drug, though.

It has a kind of funky flour type of scent. I seem to be able to handle anything without much complaint, although I do particularly dislike the taste of afinils, not to the point where I can't tolerate them, they're just my most disliked in terms of taste, noticeable above all the rest, and I've tried a very large amount.

I've speculated before that I may have an unusually weak sense of taste and smell (which can strongly impact taste). Not sure why, may be chronic sinus issues, possibly related to being on the autism spectrum > chronic (neuro)inflammation or overactive histamine, or possibly even testosterone.

For example, relative to your description, it isn't anywhere near as bad for me. This could also explain why I don't derive much pleasure from food, and even before this didn't derive that much pleasure from it.

Seriously? It doesn't smell bad but the taste is heavy. I can basically get down anything without complaining but that stuff is really disgusting. It doesn't even compare to other weird chemicals in my opinion. Take some in your mouth and tell me that's not horrible.

Alright. Just did it, scooped some straight onto my tongue, swished it around. Pretty mild. Still holding it now.

Sulbutiamine (brand name: Arcalion) is a synthetic derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1).

That's how I would describe the taste, I suppose. A type of (synthetic) vitamin, which is pretty vague. I really do think there's something wrong with my sense of taste and smell.

    You are fucked up, bro.

It tastes like a Vitamin, though. Multivitamin stuff has a part of Sulbu's taste but it's just minor. Interesting that we agree on that but have such a different perception of it. What's your favorite meal, Malice?

    what does that do?

    what does that do?
I'll let Malice tell you, lol. Short version: It's a stimulant, anxiolytic nootropic.

sounds tantalizing...most nootropics ive tried ive had very limited effects from though. have you taken it enough to notice a pronounced effect?

It is a weird substance. It has stimulant short term effects but I don't know if you'll feel them, I'm pretty sensitive to stimulants. The anxiolytic effects are even weirder because they mostly happen after you discontinue long term use. Though, it might be anxiolytic short term as well. It's hard to tell since I'm on stronger drugs all the time.
