African doesn't make sense since there are other races that descind from there.
It pisses me off when people think I'm being prejudice when I refer to them as negro, to me it's showing them respect.

I just say black if I say anything at all. I don't usually refer to people by their race though. That also seems dated to me. To each their own I guess

Negro is way old. When someone uses the term negro it makes me feel like they’ve never met nor talked to a black person.

It usually dates a person. I heard this expression used up until the 1980s. then it was for fun to mock "Dad talk" and now it's just asking for headache.

I used to like Modela Negra yet, it was always difficult to say.. so I listened to the waitress say it in spanish to get it right.

    thankfully I don't drink anymore :D

And whites aren't white. As to why I don't tend to racially identify people.

BTW I'm not calling you prejudice my opinion just differs

You're not a negro Candy, you're a person, a unique and wonderful human with 2 bulbs of flesh that would feel soft and warm in the mouth.

I find the term "African american" more racial than negro because saying "African" basically reduces you to where you can from centuries ago and outs a prefix in front of the country you hail from. I'm white AF but closer removed from the boat that brought my grandparents over than blacks who've been in the country since the early 1800s. Calling someone African American is putting a qualifier on their status as an American while just calling someone black or a negro just explains the context they live in now.

The whole African American thing is silly anyway as it's not a color..and 99% of those called it couldn't point out Africa on a fucking map (89% couldn't point out America either).
