I think that's probably what's going to happen. At least, if he can keep this inertia up.

From our end, we don't get THAT much coverage, it seems he is just a protest vote and voters can REALLY see the guy who when the going gets tough he just bankrupts the company and lets others pick up the tab.

And from the democrat side it looks like 1 old person vs another old person and the winner is the person who is still alive by the end of it.

At first I didn't think he had a chance but he trumped (no pun intended) the Nevada Caucus. I think Iowa too. He was just in my city a few days ago and thousands went to go see him. I don't care for him too much but idk what it is I still think he'd be better than Hilary. She just seems evil to me. Like she has some hidden agenda. And she is NO feminist in my eyes. I don't think she gives a shit about equality for women or anything to do with women issues. It's really too bad we can't come up with a better Republican than what is the line up this election. I would like to see Sanders win but realistically I don't know if he has a chance.

    this...

It's just look at how terrible the last 2 presidents were, and all the bullshit, americans will fall for it time and time again. Just you wait and see how george p bush ends up becoming our president several years down the road. The jediminati wouldn't mind donald trump being president, the people that like donald trump are typically the people that watch mind control media like NBC. He may win.. and if he does I would partially chalk it up to predictive programming, considering he had one of the highest rated shows, and catchy catch lines like, "you're fired" and "whimpy wimpy whimpers"

Is this the worst election you guys have witnessed yet? Neither of the likely candidates seem fit for the job in my opinion. Trump over Clinton, though. Fuck....

Is there any possible outcome of this election that would falsify your belief in the "jediminati"?

Pfft, 2004 was clearly worse and it's one of like 3 elections I have enough of a memory of to comment on. Also Hillary is just a right wing bogeyman, she's no saint but the level of emotionality I see out of people over her being "just evil" or "secretly a man" or any number of other hilarious slurs based, as far as I can tell, on personal insecurities makes it clear that the smear campaigns are working but nothing else.

If you're serious about political analysis and prediction, you need to learn about prediction markets and why they matter:

    http://predictwise.com/politics/2016-president-republican-nomination

Trump likely has a very good chance of being nominated. That doesn't answer your question, though, but at the very least it's going to be entertaining as hell seeing him as one of the two contenders, campaigning and debating.

    http://predictwise.com/politics/2016-president-winner

Odds are probably in Hillary's favor, but this is such a huge wildcard. Genuine scandals (Yes, the emails actually do matter, although they have been fixated on for political gain; it's not binary.), incredible corruption, lies, skeletons in closet etc. Only idiotic generic Democrats, vagina voters, hyper-partisans, college liberals/people who consider themselves intelligent and highly knowledgeable, but actually have mediocre intelligence and are incredibly uninformed and misinformed (Analysis of information consumption. Overwhelmingly low quality, irrelevant, entertainment masquerading as education, and bias confirmation). you know, the vast majority of the population who support her, are unaware of these issues, believe they're insignificant, or are actually excited about her. There are just so many factors that can contribute to an implosion or at the very least reduce her support, and fuck, hahaha, Trump is the worst fucking candidate that could have won for that, you know he's going to go after mercilessly.

And really, how dumb do you have to be to actually be excited about Hillary Clinton, especially after 8 years of Obama. Anyone's who's hoping for positive change from a presidential candidate is incredibly naive and will be continually disappointed, but the vast majority never learn. Look into research done on political partisanship, it's embarrassing. This isn't pessimism or cynicism, it's realism. Political idols are abominations beneath the surface, FDR is the Reagan of the left. As for their impact, it brings to mind this political cartoon:

And then when the economy turned around Democrats completely forgot this. I noticed it immediately on Reddit.

Allow me to show you one amusing insight into the most recent alleged Democratic golden/nostalgic era. Decide for yourself what this suggests: www.google.com/search?q=clinton+bush+friends

Believing you have a chance for real change, being able to feel as part of something larger than yourself, a righteous movement, following the events, does bring happiness to people's lives, but it's akin to a belief in religion/God, you've either seen through it and are either unable or unwilling to delude yourself even if you accept it would lead to an increase in well-being due to fundamental human factors (happiness research), or it's like sports and you just aren't dumb enough (Too strong a systemizer, higher need for intellectual stimulation, strong subconscious elitism?) to enjoy seeing a ball moved from point A to point B.

Kick back and enjoy watching the world continually burn and grow, be destroyed and rebuilt. The debates and campaigns of Trump v. Hillary are going to be a riot, this could be the most amusing election cycle in history (Taking into account the technology we have available.).

*shrugs* She's a standard politician, to be honest. That's really what it boils down to. In your view, how bad is that? It's not going to be the end of the world, of course, but it will be a continuation of trends. Hillary is extremely corrupt and establishment to the core.

Oh, and as for those who use the lesser of two evils line of argument, I like to use this line:

If you keep choosing between being shot in the hand or foot, eventually you're going to bleed out.

How has this strategy of voting for the lesser of two evils worked out? Where has it gotten the nation? Anyone who adheres to this pathetic strategy deserves the country they get.

Super Tuesday. Trump currently at 84%, Rubio only at 9%: http://predictwise.com/politics/2016...can-nomination

Looks like he's going to do it, and soon, probably.

Bernie still doesn't have a chance.
