It's incredibly ironic how pretentious the residents are and how they ignorantly assume they're better than everyone else and look down at places like the Midwest.
There isn't a single place as nice as central Indiana in southern California.
The whole west is so ugly.

also, a small region of SF and Oakland and Berkley have Homeless encampments. well in SF it's pretty much the entire tenderloins, 6th street south of Market and under highways. most highways has that one person with their sign.
such a large percentage of California does not. and is rural as shit. I dropped some people off not far from the bay. 90 minute drive north through traffic here and there. got to Lake County and hit the casino in Twin Pines and got a lunch. then headed back to the bay. they have something that looks like Buttes or the Moon type mountains. Amazing. shitloads of trees. the highway is windy and full of tree tunnels through the entire way. very shadey .. only think I didn't like is how the local come flying up through this road and hang on your tail .. i kept pulling over for them. the roads are windy with lots of emergency shoulder areas.
LA is full of old neighborhoods and is sprawled. not a lot of people have lawns or upkept lawns there. I don't like LA much either. unless you live on the coast or in the hills with big houses.. LA is kind of fucked up.
So.. I'm glad you didn't come up here and find out it was you. yet, there is no way in hell you're going to tell me Indiana is better than California. it's not bad there. it has pretty areas and probably good camping areas. the people with attitude in California.. many of them are first generations or next generations. they don't speak for multi generations who are nicer. these people got a little money and attitude to go with it. plus.. You were in LA.. that's just how LA is. -
