Im about to head over to Walmart and pick it up.
I was hooked on TS1 back in the day and got the Sims 2 and enjoyed that (though it didn't feel as magical as the first).
The Sims 3 was absolute horse shit so I never really was able to enjoy that plus the character models were atrocious.

The Sims 4 is worse than The Sims 3. Trust me on this. Sims 2 was peak Sims.
But The Sims 3 is good for traits and stuff. Also the character models are great for racist caricatures. Meet Maury Shekelberg:

You just can't do that in The Sims 2.

I was just selecting the voice for my sim and it was going to use a female voice ... also clothing isn't sorted by male and female it's masculine and feminine and you can even have a man wear a dress ... also in the preview for hair the faces look like mexicans ...
