    I needed the code like that (unadjusted for theta sampling) for a visualization I was making for a proposal, the change makes it easier to work with the numbers and compose a figure, but it quietly breaks an important quality of the algorithm (rotational invariance) so I was supposed to change it back as soon as I finished making the figures I needed. Instead I left it in and fucked myself in exactly the way I didn't want to.
