I agree with your opinion of Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately 6 decades of treasonous foreign policy has created a situation that can not be turned on a dime over one dead reporter. It would destabilize a key region that is already on the brink of chaos. The solution is diplomatic and economic not military. -

Econ and diplomacy is WHY you're allied with them. Region is already destabilzed and chaotic thanks to America and the House of saud. This is probably the one time a military solution would be handy. All they have is money and american equipment they're too incompetent to utilize. Diplomacy with a King? they see you as pawns in their game and that feeling is probably mutual.

I feel sorry for the working class brits. they're the ones who created all the great British entertainment. with personal pain comes comedy and great art (theater, music..)
