The song starts with a reverb synth piano playing a light riff. We are greeted to this track by the voice of Ebenezer Lembe aka EBZ who says his signature catch phrase "Yo it's ricochet bullet EbZ"
He then proceeds to introduce the cast of this rap video, TSA (Tracksuit Andy a British Youtube Livestreamer) Evan (a Youtube livestreamer from California also known as Keidom) and he shouts out to his man Ice Poseidon (a twitch/youtube streamer)
He then goes on to explain the origins of the name of the song. He started off calling the song "The Cx Walk" but then a stream sniper (one who is watching/following a streamer into a server or a game queue just to kill and taunt them.) arrived at their location when EBZ went inside and they both went outside and the stream sniper suggested that they "make that shit a scuffed walk"
The opening harmony then becomes quieter as the main riff kicks in and the entire cast of the song says "It's a scuffed walk" at the same time.
Ice Poseidon then starts with the main verse, "I'ma go live, I ain't tryna edit shit, I'ma go live"
This is repeated 2 more times and then TSA finished off the verse with the same lyric which provides a good contrast of atmosphere to the diverse rappers, EBZ builds upon this by starting off with his section of the song; "Yeah, I recognize I would stumble on the rise", EBZ admits that he knows that he has many challenges to face and that it’s really tough to become a succesful rapper.
"I ain't tell you that I wasn't gon' lie When you see me do a scuffed walk Gator skin taking out the guess work"
He goes on to explain that he wasn't going to tell any falsehoods and if you see him doing a 'Scuffed Walk' (Referring to something broken or not of quality/ not working, A person who is acting dumb or is autistic) that you can be sure he is keeping true to himself and the fans of his music. Gator Skin is a reference to one of EBZ's songs.
"Had 'em seeing slaps, hands flying with some leg work", EBZ is known in the Purple Army for using slaps when he’s mad and gets violent. Many members of the cast have been slapped by EBZ such as Sam Pepper, Scuffed Jim Carrey, DJ Panz and Scuffed Steve Jobs. "IRL streaming call the network", EBZ is part of a popular IRL livestreaming network called “Cx Network”. The network was created by Ice Poseidon to create a brand off the potential that IRL streaming offers.
"I gave this shit my whole life, you could tell me what the best worth" He is explaining that he has put the majority of his effort and time towards his music career and that his success is justified by his work ethic
"And when it's all said and done you could make a meme But pay attention to the words cause I do believe" What he's saying here is essentially "I understand that reddit makes jokes and memes about me and my music but I actually do take this very seriously
"That from a time we all met it was a jubilee Ice had straightforward math like he usually RV's, bus ticket, off to boarding the sea" He's referencing the first time he was introduced to Ice Poseidon and the Cx Network and describes the meeting as a 'jubilee' (a special anniversary of an event) and that Ice Poseidon had everything planned out well and in advance which he is known for doing. The next line is a reference to various events on Ice Poseidon's stream, The RV Roadtrip and Horsehoe Bay.
In his final line of his part of this song he references TSA and another livestreamer 'Blade' and goes on to repeat the name of the song before the chorus kicks in again "OnlyusemeBlade, TSA, and it's a scuffed walk"
TSA (tracksuit andy) then starts rapping; "Normies can't understand the Cx walk", Tracksuit Andy says that people outside of Ice Poseidon’s community can’t really understand the community itself and it’s past.
"Strapped in a track", Tracksuit Andy was a special character because he was a cool guy when he first met Ice Poseidon. He often wears tracksuits which is also why he has this name. He says he’s strapped to them because it’s an important trait of his character.
"TTS Talk", TTS or text to speak is a voice that comes off a speaker after someone donates money for a message to be read or music to be played. Tracksuit Andy was recently renamed by Ice Poseidon’s reddit to TTSA because he livestreams only to get donations from TTS and doesn't actually do anything besides stare at the camera and only acknowledges his chat when they send him money "New leech get the sniper off", Leaches and Snipers are what the Livestream community calls people who aren't popular youtube streamers that like to hang out with them and be on their streams.
"Free dollars now I'm rapping to a microphone", In this verse he explains that when people send him money through text to speech donations he can end up in a variety of absurd situations, like rapping to a microphone for example.
"Reach me Horseshoe with ET", This is a reference to Ice Poseidon's trip to Horseshoe bay with his girlfriend Caroline Burt (who is called ET or the alien by the Cx Community because of her unusual appearance)
"Fan trying to call balling with a sweet tea", People that watch livestreams are known for phoning whatever place of business the livestreamer is visiting so they can troll them or mess with them in some way. TSA explains one incident where he was enjoying himself drinking a sweetened tea and fans were calling the place he was drinking the tea and trying to get him in trouble.
Evan then quickly jumps in after TSA and introduces himself with the verse
"I streamed all the way to Philly", a reference to when he walked from the coast of Florida all the way to Philadelphia and livestreamed the entire trip.
"And Ding Ding kinda got me feeling kind sinda silly", Ding Ding is what Ice Poseidon's girlfriend Caroline Burt called him as a pet name, Evan is making a playful jab about this fact
"Editors, I don't even need 'em", Evan is a livestreamer so he doesn't need to extensively edit his videos or have a high production value because the charm of his streams comes from them being live, not over produced. "Tune in live to Kiedom", Kiedom was the name of Evan’s Youtube channel.
"Got rejected, on the dating game But now I'm here to make my name", While on Steve Harvey’s show, “Steve’s Dating Pool”, Kiedom was rejected for not considering spirituality a big part of his life but he doesn't let that bother him, and now he wants to become a popular Youtuber.
The chorus than repeats one last time before Sam Pepper comes in. His entire portion of this song is a parody of Ice Poseidon. He is speaking 'as' Ice Poseidon in the first person. This is the most clever and comedy oriented part of the song
"Feeling silly like I'm Ding Ding", Ding Ding is a nickname that Ice Poseidon’s girlfriend, Caroline, gave him. She leaked DMs between her and Ice where she says “U got me feeling silly today”.
"Martians calling me, I'm hearing that ring ring", They’re talking about Ice Poseidon’s girlfriend, Caroline. Reddit has given Caroline the name “alien” because of the amount of plastic surgeries she’s had. Sam Pepper uses martians to talk about the alien.
"All wondering where I'm sleeping", Ice Poseidon’s reddit often question his behaviours and one of them is faking break ups. The community suspected him of sleeping at Caroline’s house when he pretended to have broken up with her. The front page often had many threads on the subject.
"Trying to guess the momma of little Ding Ding", Sam Pepper pretending to be Ice Poseidon is joking about having a child and not knowing who the mother is because he has sex with lots of random women.
"And I'm feeling kind of sleepy 4 PM fuck a schedule, I'm still eating", Ice Poseidon is notoriously late for his streams and doesn't wake up until 4pm which is when he says he will usually stream, he is usually busy sleeping or eating.
Ice Poseidon then comes in with a reference to his initiation ritual where he force you to show him your penis and secretly records it so he has a picture of your dick if you ever try to blackmail him in some way.
"Show me your dick, one of us"
"Dancing with strippers on the bus", In this verse Paul Denino aka Ice Poseidon refers to the time when he was homeless and depressed because he just got evicted and had only a couple days left to move to a new apartment but had just rented a party bus and danced with some strippers and Planet Pizza aka Burger Planet was acting a leech and got kicked out of the Cx network because he was a selfish leech who didn’t help Ice Poseidon out by lending him his phone to continue streaming.
"I make 50K a month just sleeping", Refers to Ice Poseidon’s sleeping streams where he tries to sleep but the fans keep messing with him trying to interrupt his sleep by donating and requesting songs or TTS in general.
After that line he laughs in his signature 'Goblin Voice'
And references the goblin meme by saying; "Grab my goblin dick and keep beating"
"And they all think this is easy", Ice Poseidon is talking about his Reddit community which has insane expectations of him. They often make hate threads for him for misbehaving or lying to them. "Keep that AC set at 60 freezy", He is known for setting his Air Conditioner to low settings and leaving it on when he isn't home for a few days
"Have you got some Captain Crunch? (This line was necessary otherwise it wouldn’t rhyme with the next one.) Eat it out of your ass for lunch", One of Ice Poseidon’s main theme on stream is sex so and he especially likes talking about having oral sex on a girls rectum
"Soles on my feet, blacked like Hannah", Ice Poseidon’s house is so damn dirty that his feet become black when he walks around and therefore become 'blacked' like Hannah (Sam Pepper’s girlfriend had sexual intercourse with a TriHard (black afro-american citizen) who creampied her)
"Twitch staff never liked my manners", Ice Poseidon was permanently banned on Twitch after callers called and told security at the airport that Paul had a bomb in his backpack. Soon the authorities responded which resulted in him getting swatted on the plane and making it on the news. He was never unbanned from twitch, who hold grudges against him and instead moved platforms and converted to the better YouTube.
"Left hand waving, shouting "Fuck it", One of Ice Poseidon’s most popular catchphrases is the famous “Fuck it dood hehehe”. He often uses it to deflect criticism and make it seem like what he’s doing is no big deal. Another one of his well known mannerisms is waving his left hand up in the air and wiggling his tongue like he's trying to catch a flying dick in his mouth
"Shorty's chin so big need a bucket And the condom fuckin' split", A girl that appeared on Ice Poseidon’s stream pretended that she was pregnant because the condom split while they were having sex. She was named Crimson Chin on Ice’s reddit because of her remarkably big chin.
"But at least I have this hit", He says that despite all the various hardships in his life he still has his friends and makes music videos with them which is more important than money or fame.
The song then closes off with his signature goblin laugh and weird noises.
