Of the highest order unforetunately. I saw all these nerds/hippies sitting outside in lawn chairs just shitting themselves and I pulled up and was like hey guys what is this about and they were like "is about a bunch of stuff but mainly marvel comix, and i was like dude i used buy vhs tabes from this place (that just rymed) and i told them i just saw the movie "venom" and I told them how I can came it better so they said I can come and potentially be a guest speaker because i have a lot of longevity in this community and being a artist.
The guy be hind me kept honking this horn for me to move and i did after 4 minutes

I was near Oakland (not sure where Matt Groening is from but was visiting my town)
And he was standing in line of what was Longs Drugs buying something. and I said "Hey you look familure" (now mind you this was mid 1980s before he got his cartoon on that brit comedy show (can't think of it) when the simpsons first started out.. it could of even been later 80s like 87 or 88.
and he points to a rack of comics and says, I am the writer and producer of that. and he posted at one of the books.
I asked him what he was doing and he said he had friends in the town and named one of them, which was a friend of my Brother in Highschool but also a well known musician at the time.
that's what I remember and I'm sticking to that story!
