I don't want to be the Conspiracy nut. I was fascinated as a younger person and believed things I felt no one else would believe. and had a few experiences in my youths.
But I never saw a UFO (until 2002 which was a bright cloud, non-symmetric glowing and stayed in the same place.. not Saturn or Venus. it stayed for several hours.
other then that I never saw a UFO but I believed that we're with people not of this world, right here on this planet. but I have seen some things that I would say "That's just fucking nuts". because some people say some stupid fucking shit. Perhaps to cleverly mock UFOlogy related things.
the other thing was "Government Conspiracy" which was for fun. I didn't believe everything I read. it was for fun. then when the Internet came about, shit was revealed and declassified as fact. so a Conspiracy Theory is not synonymous with that of Playful Theories or theories that will fall apart. There has to be a Conspiracy Theory at times to challenge the official story which seem to have holes in them or something just seems odd. Many Conspiracy theories will fall apart. but everyone is unique. it's not a pattern of pseudoscience waiting to show up as a fail. some will become facts with extended truths never thought of and some Conspiracy Theories will just show as a complete fail or as a prank. like the Flat Earth Society. it's a joke. A bunch of Mathematician Nerds fucking with peoples heads while trying to create a possible way for a flat earth (in theory) to exist. but it's a Joke. a prank.
so Conspiracy Theory has this marking of being something only Insane people follow. it's not one thing as the subjects are not one thing.
Like you, I was on totse. having fun for finding a place with online info (like threads that were more like PDF files) of Government and UFO stuff. since then stuff has come to being factual. I was just in it as an interest for fun. like reading National Enquire of Bat Boy or some silly shit.
but it's like that moment in films, when the rumble suddenly comes and the person has a massive epiphany and a rapid heart beat and your world changes in seconds. you can walk away and forget or go another layer down the rabbit hole. Blue or Red.
