Learning to Code Resources

2018-10-05 at 12:21 PM UTCPoast your favourite code learning resources here.
Two youtube channels I like are Coding Garden with CJ:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnEH9tYLxLk
and Brad Traversy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEROU2XtPR8
Both are javascript node.js/web development sorts.
Derek Banas is also good, if you can keep up with his pace, he covers a wide range of technologies too:

4chan /g/ is good for discussion:

and /t/ for torrents:

/g/ really isn't a good place for discussion. It can be fun to shitpost there sometimes but like 90% of the people who try to offer advice started programming in the last year and will feed you memes (and /g/-tier shitmemes, not godly /prog/-tier memes) as if they're serious.
Treat /g/ like entertainment, not a place that has anything to do with learning. It's for your own good.

Google Chrome Developer Diaries

They seem to do actual projects. One thing I aspire to build is a Podcast PWA platform with built in paywall functionality, to get more normies weaned off the MSM and enable podcast hosts to receive shekels more easily.
It's hard though. My code doesn't run right 95% of the time. I'm feeling frustrated. I know I'm smart, but I feel so dumb when I'm at this shit.
How long does it take to learn all this stuff? You never finish? -

More dev-ops than coding, but amazing sandbox environment that lets you tool around on linux doing tutorials right inside your browser. -

This one goes into the way Javascript works in the interpreter, and is pretty trippy. -
