Why Game of Thrones Season 7 is so bad

Really good points here, but the main ones are that characters are now divided into Good and Evil, and that actions no longer have consequences - acting stupidly no longer gets people hurt.

It feels like Coronation Street with dragons to me.

On the other hand I was shocked at how non-diverse the show has remained - there are, as of yet, no nig-nogs walking around Winterfell as if nothing is wrong. Even the Lannister soldiers are so far unenriched.

The first 4 episodes were good. It went down south with the last two episodes.

If it sets the stage for the rest of the show, I'm not into it. It's the only one I've seen.

There is diversity enough in Essos continent and Dorne, in Westeros. Why the hell should there be "diversity" in Winterfell?
You do know about their origins and where they are geographically speaking, right?

That's never stopped the diversity police in the past

Yeah, and I am sick and tired with this PC bullshite. It's like whining why aren't there black people, when the story is set in the Feudal Japan, or why aren't there white people if the story is set in Rwanda. Should we go with the physical traits, or should we look down at the genetic level.

You (as in general) want diversity and "gender equality" representation? Write your own stories and sto complaining.
People write about what they know best. What moves or interest them the most.

They rushed this last season. A lot of plot/physics holes. It was less about characters and more about action and fantasy. They could have made last season into 2 seasons. They could also made this last season into 2 seasons.

I imagine the actors are ready to move on. It’s been going a while now, hence the rushing.
