-
2015-11-29 at 12 AM UTCI'm running 8.1 now what if any benefit will I get from "Upgrading" to 10.
Besides not having to look at the upgrade icon in my toolbar anymore. -
2015-11-29 at 12:33 AM UTC10 is a higher number.
But seriously, I remember when there was Windows 95 and then XP/Vista, and so on with each new OS coming out every two to three years. Now it's like Windows is pumping out a new OS every year. I would just Linux and your primary and keep Windows as a secondary if you have to. -
2015-11-29 at 12:50 AM UTCI use linux mint for some things, I use windows for gaming.

2015-11-29 at 8:01 AM UTCI stopped played the game at WinXP. Fuck Microsoft. They've always been real bags of shit, and stupid, too. It's amazing they've come as far as they have, being just one step above tree stumps, as far as intelligence goes.

Windows XP, the l33t3st of haxx0rz OS.
ONTOPIC: I'd refrain from upgrading for the fact the EULA states the liscense is only for 1 year and allows micrococks to receive telemetryabout all sorts of things from your PC. Best use a Linux distro as main and Windows 7/8 in VM, or dual boot. -

WinXP is a much more stable, smooth, issue-free and compatible OS than any other, and outperforms even the new operating systems. If something ain't broke, you don't need to "fix" it. Only lamers need a new OS as their security blankets just to feel cool. -

Nigga please, i care not for the fancy new features of windows 10 or whatever. Only reason i am on 7 is that it's still being supported. Besides, serious business is for me is done on Linux almost exclusively.
