I tried to analyse it at first, as well but then I just got lost in what they showed. I'm really blown away. I'll definitely watch this a couple of times and try to find some cool stuff but right now I'm just hyped as fuck.
I just really, really want the option to go 3rd person ala Skyrim etc. That would've been so dope. I love how it looks when they drive around and it goes 3rd person. Fuck. I want that so bad. -

2018-08-28 at 1:45 AM UTCI wasn't really in the mood for some gritty neon noir title, tbh I think it's a genre that's a little tired before even getting started, but I'll suck CDPR's collective cocks on just about anything after W3 so I'll give it a play.

I'm on PS4 and I'm not into shooters but damn. That entire world looks fucking amazing. I only spotted one dublicate NPC city dweller (not counting the enemies in the factory) in the entire demo. If the finished game turns out to be like that I'll be impressed. -
2018-08-28 at 3:20 AM UTCim beta testing this, if you thought that video made it look good then you are in for an even bigger treat when it releases.
-
2018-08-28 at 3:27 AM UTCReally? Can you talk about it?
-
2018-09-08 at 4 AM UTCI kind of want to be hyped up but I really have concerns about the execution. it looks pretty, but how deep is the game play really going to be? only one way to find out and that's to wait

2018-09-08 at 9:03 AM UTCI don't want brown things in my 2077
-
2018-09-08 at 9:33 AM UTCI want to play, but I need a modern machine (like a PS4) to do so.
In order to buy a modern machine I need money, which means a job.
If I get a job I won't have time to play.
Therefore I will not play.
What's a pony to do? -

Minority opinion-
I couldn't get into Witcher 3 very far.
Every time I start to make some progress, I get to a point where I spend all my gold to fix my sword, and then I follow some seemingly innocent quest that leads me to an area with a mini boss that breaks my sword and uses all my other stuff before I get a chance to kill it and then I die.
I don't care for Dark Souls either though. Not into hard because hard genre.
Gwent is fun. -

Hmm, did you pay attention to quests levels? If you're good with the dodging mechanics you can end up fighting tougher enemies than you're really supposed to and grinding your weapons down when really you should be going after easier quests until you get better gear or skills. Normally people will get fucked up by bosses and realize they need to double back to the quest when they've done some character development but because you can theoretically get through most battles without taking damage if you play conservatively I've been in the situation of ending up in more difficult sections than my gear was really ready to hold up to.
Also if you don't understand the steel vs. silver sword mechanics that can happen a lot. Using more oils and potions and reading the monster spell weaknesses goes a long way to making fights not be like "beat this monster ineffectively with a sword for 20 minutes until it breaks".
W3 really isn't a particularly hard game. Like probably harder than skyrim but not by a ton.
