   I like living alone as well. Having a kid is an adjustment because at his age, despite sports and shit he's still home a lot. Not that I don't enjoy spending time with him, it's just different.

    if so, I commend you for on taking that on. It's tough being a parent. sometimes wanting "me time"
    
    find it here and there and the kid will be old enough to go to college or find a Job. giving you more space. the tough part is if they get angry at you for some shit or just want to be independent and suddenly you wish they were hanging out with you.
    
    this happens more often than not. but I'm told by their late 20s or 30s they come back and spend time with you when you're getting old
